Evidence before excitement.
Dealmetra aims to make deal selection understandable, reproducible and commercially independent.
Selection and matching
A product may be considered when a verified retailer page shows a meaningful saving and the product itself offers credible value for a defined use case. Product matching prioritises GTIN/EAN, then brand and manufacturer model codes. A promotional percentage alone is not enough.
Scoring
The current 0–100 Dealmetra score considers the retailer-advertised saving, usefulness of the product at that price, offer clarity, availability and freshness of the evidence. Historical-low and cross-retailer factors are used only when a permitted source supplies that evidence. Commission is never a scoring input.
Editorial review and AI
Automated tools may triage borderline candidates, organise permitted numerical signals and draft explanations. AI verdicts cannot override product identity, price, stock, source-approval or publication checks. Every published offer is checked against the retailer page for important conditions, and Dealmetra does not use Amazon Product Advertising Content as model input.
Commercial independence
Affiliate availability, commission rate and sponsorship do not increase a deal score. Paid placements, if introduced, will be clearly labelled and kept distinct from organic rankings.
Corrections
Prices and availability change quickly. If you spot an error, email hello@dealmetra.co.uk. Material corrections will be made as soon as reasonably practical.
